During the Saturday morning session of the October 2018 general conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced a change to the Church schedule with the aim of strengthening families through a home-centered and Church-supported plan.
What are the promises he made when we implement this home centered learning? How can we mold our homes into centers for gospel learning? How can we consciously and carefully prepare to meet the needs of the learners in our homes? How can we facilitate gospel conversation and learning in our home?

Class Instructor Rachel Lyons
Rachel is first and foremost a wife and mother.She and her husband, Bill have been blessed with five beautiful children whose ages range from 10 to 18.Rachel loves the restored truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and all that it encompasses.It is the driving force in her life. Rachel has been purposeful in nurturing her family.She and her husband have made a point to create meaningful family traditions and wholesome recreational activities including marathons, triathlons, mountain biking, hiking and sports in all varieties.They have truly found happiness in their family life because their foundation is upon the Lord, Jesus Christ.
